About the Driver
Hello! My name is Natalie Lantz and I am the owner/operator of Pacific Equine Transportation. I am a 3rd generation horse owner and have 30+ years of experience with a wide variety of breeds. Growing up, I rode in the hunter/jumper discipline and was an assistant to the manager of a breeding ranch in California. As an adult, I enjoy riding the beautiful trails in Central Oregon. I am also interested in Trail Courses, Cowboy Dressage and Mounted Archery/Shooting.
Additional Information!
Our trailer is a slant load 3-horse 2021 Thurobilt Liberty. It is extra tall and wide. The inside dimensions of the trailer cabin are 7'6" tall, 19'3" long, and 6'6" wide. Length of the slant stalls are 132" long and 34" wide. It will comfortably fit most horses up to 17 hands.
Surfaces in the trailer are sanitized before/after each professional haul.
Wood shavings are spread over the floor mats to prevent slipping during transport and waste containment.
Each horse will be provided a slosh-resistant water bucket and hay net. We prefer feeding the hay that the horse is accustomed to so hay should be provided by pickup location.
It is common for horses to not drink enough water during transport. To prevent choking and reduce the risk of impact colic we WILL NOT feed grains or other concentrated feeds.
For transports longer than two hours, breaks will be taken to check on the horse(s) condition.
As a Central Oregonian, I haul year-round and sometimes through adverse road conditions. I do however reserve the right to postpone a haul if the weather on the day of transportation is too dangerous (i.e snow blizzard). I will not put your horse(s) safety at a risk I would not put my own.
I am willing to transport tack and other belongings like blankets, tack trunks, etc with your horse. Please check in during the quote about the amount of tack you are expecting to include.
If you want your horse(s) legs to be wrapped during the transport, the wraps will need to be provided and put on by the designated person at the pick-up location.
